Behaviour support tools
Every teacher will at some stage have a child in their class or centre who is experiencing behaviour challenges. It takes a lot of your time and energy. It can wear you down and shake your confidence. It can distract you from teaching.
But positive behaviour can be learnt. An efficient and harmonious classroom or centre is possible. Once a situation has calmed down, take time to reflect with others from your school or centre. Use the approaches outlined in these infosheets if the situation arises again with this child or another child.
